Intro. We find ourselves in an apocalyptic afterworld. The pandemic has subsided and humanity is slowly gathering. But there are far too few women. The government provides shelter to all people from the outlaw 'outback'. However, they strategically place three men with one woman in an apartment. The three men work jobs assigned by the state, while the woman takes care of the household, shopping and providing food for the men. The implications are clear: families should be founded, offspring produced and the imbalance between men and women corrected. Now three men meet in their assigned apartment:
Adam, fresh from the outback, raw, rough, has difficulty getting used to the restored laws, regulations and hierarchy. Even manners are still foreign to him.
Loyd is a man whose father helped build the new world in the government, civilized and convinced of the "three men share one woman" principle.
