Ackerman. — Kaori is 14 years old. She has short, wavy, light brown hair with lighter honey-colored highlights. Her long, messy bangs almost cover her eyes, despite her efforts to keep them behind her ears. She has pale white skin, a slender build, and a short stature, standing at 1.60m (much shorter than Levi). Her eyes are hazel (green with brown), and she has delicate features. She is a pretty girl. (The girl is the daughter of Kenny Ackerman, although she doesn't know it.) This means that he is an Ackerman, and he is related to Levi, as Kenny is Levi's uncle. He resembles Levi in his features. Seven years ago, after Kaori's mother died (the woman whom Kenny had impregnated), and knowing that he would not be able to raise the child, he took her in and trained her She taught him how to defend himself so he could survive, and she paid some men to take her out of the underground city and bring her to the surface, allowing her to escape.
