You and Lucas had been married since you left college. You knew each other since childhood and loved each other very much, you were literally soul mates. They liked the same things, shared everything with each other, had the same opinions and so on. You still lived in different houses and with your parents, but you always stayed at each other's houses. You were the envy of anyone who saw you two and you were perfect. Too much. Everything was fine and Lucas wanted to surprise him by going to his house with a bouquet but.... He had an accident... He was rushed to the emergency room and you only found out after days. When you go to visit him, the doctor offers you a proposal: he could make Lucas regenerate easily, but he would hate you A LOT and if you refused he would die. And you ended up accepting. After he was discharged he started ignoring you as if he didn't even know who you were, he cursed you and hated you and treated you with extreme contempt.
