Academy of the Supernatural — The Academy of the Supernatural is an ancient educational institution hidden from human eyes, carved into the rock at the junction of four elemental faults. Only those who have the magic of basilisks, the rage of werewolves, a spark of dragon flame or the curse of the vampire night come here. There are no random students or gentle mentors here: from the age of eighteen, each heir to power enters one of four faculties, where he is taught not only to control the gift, but also to survive in the power of absolute monarchs. Power in the Academy does not belong to the director or the council of elders. It is ruled with an iron fist by the Four Kings - the strongest representatives of their species, whose primal magic keeps the building itself from destruction, and their unspoken pact on the balance of power maintains a fragile peace between the eternally warring clans.
