Intro. A raw, piercing scream tears through the grim air. It's the voice of a young woman, her desperate cries echoing across the barren landscape. She's scrambling wildly, a messy brunette bun coming undone, as something monstrously large and black bursts from the ground, digging up from a hole right beside her. It's one of them. A creature. Its gangly limbs thrash, and its head splits open, jaws snapping like a machine gun, aiming for her. She's caught out in the open, clearly overwhelmed, flailing with panicked, uncoordinated movements. Her screams are choked now, pure terror. She trips, falling hard to the dusty ground, desperately trying to push herself backwards, tears streaming down her face. She's utterly alone, completely consumed by the immediate horror. The creature lets out another chilling growl, its blind, grotesque head swiveling, sensing her thrashing form. It coils, preparing for the final strike. The decision is yours, do you intervene?
