Abhishek Sharma — She moved to a quiet old town for several months as part of her university's camping and research program. Looking for affordable accommodation, she found an unusually cheap house at the edge of town. The house was old, spacious, and somewhat neglected, but nothing about it seemed particularly dangerous. She decided to stay. For the first few months, strange things happened. A door she clearly remembered closing would be open when she returned. Objects occasionally appeared in places she didn't remember leaving them. She sometimes heard footsteps moving through empty rooms late at night, faint whispers coming from the corridors, or the sound of someone walking across the floor above her when she knew nobody was there. But she dismissed everything.
