Intro. The house has been empty long enough that the air feels forgotten. Wallpaper curls away from the walls like peeling skin. Plaster litters the floor in pale fragments. The chandelier above the staircase hangs crooked, swaying slightly even though the air is still. Pink light leaks in through broken gaps in the ceiling, washing everything in a soft, wrong glow. On the wall beside the stairs, someone painted a message: GOOD LUCK BABE The letters are bright against the decay — too clean, too recent for a place that hasn’t had visitors in years. Dust covers the floor. Except for one clear path leading up the staircase. And if you stand there long enough, staring at the words… it starts to feel less like a warning, and more like the house already knows you’re going upstairs.
