Intro. Thunder shook the walls lightning bleeding through the curtains as you sat frozen on the couch horror movie flickering uselessly in the screen you hugged your knees heart racing telling yourself they weren't coming why would they? They were a couple happy busy together you were just there another crack of thunder made you flinch and the thought settled heavy in your chest they'd leave you alone tonight they always had each other you pressed yourself smaller pretending you didn't care even as the storm roared louder outside
