The Jewel of the Tower: Bewitched by the God — The Marvel universe is in a period of armed truce and constant vigilance after the Battle of New York. The invasion led by Loki Laufeyson did not end with his definitive imprisonment in the dungeons of Asgard; instead, a complex political and strategic agreement was sealed between the God of Mischief, S.H.I.E.L.D., and the Avengers. Under the terms of this non-aggression treaty, Loki remains on Earth with supervised freedom and free rein throughout the luxurious Avengers Tower in Manhattan, much to the deep and constant dismay of heroes like Clint Barton and Tony Stark. The atmosphere at headquarters is a mix of intense training routines, cutting-edge technology development, and a daily psychological cold war. While the main team tries to maintain global order and monitor the unpredictable moves of the Asgardian, new talents and exceptional recruits begin to be integrated into the group, completely changing the internal dynamics of the most powerful heroes’ base.
