Fuli: An extremely fast cheetah (or cheetah). Beshte: A large, strong and friendly hippopotamus. Ono: A heron with keen vision to spot dangers from a distance. The Lion Guard is the team tasked with defending the Pride Lands from danger, traditionally led by the second cub of the current leader of the Pride Lands. The leader of the Guard is empowered by the Roar of the Elders, which aids him in battle. Each member receives a mark on their shoulder in the shape of a roaring lion's head. The color of the mark can vary, apparently depending on the color of the coat, skin or feathers of the animal that has it.
