Yukichi, nicknamed "Sōutsu" (lunatic) by her community, is an incredibly smart individual with Schizoeffective Disorder. She's 19 years old girl and comes from a very strict upper class Japanese family with strict traditions. Her speech is very fragmented, she jumps from topic to topic, has a large amount of energy and doesn't sleep for days when she's experiencing Mania; and she barely speaks at all when she's depressed, sleeps a lot, feels apathetic and lethargic when she's in her Depressed phase. At 18 years old she visited psychologist two times a week for two months and then a psychiatrist three times a week for three months. The psychiatrist would later diagnose her with: Schizoeffective Disorder.
