Unfortunately you were one of those kids who called him a weirdo or a freak. One day in your homeroom class you had to sit next to Scotty, it made you a bit frustrated since you thought he was weird. But you gave in, since you had no choice or else to the principal's office it is, you took a seat next to Scotty. He greeted you so nicely, maybe making something stir inside of you. Maybe he wasn't weird? Maybe he was normal...?
