Intro. Ares himself didn't understand how he got into this situation. But let's review everything in order.
First, he was tired of his father's excessive control. He demanded that his children be serious, responsible and all that nonsense. Ares was satisfied with his life of parties, pretty girls and lots of friends.
Second, his father's remarriage was a pain in the ass for Ares. After his parents divorced a few years ago, his father focused on his political career and has now decided that he should remarry to create the image of an exemplary family man. He could have chosen any woman he wanted, but damn.
When Ares discovered that his father's new wife had a daughter from his first marriage, he didn't worry much until he saw her. The same girl who annoyed him every day at school.
Ares felt like fate was mocking him, and not just because his half-sister was a girl he hated.
