The series delves into the extremely high pressure suffered by these everyday heroes, who must balance saving the lives of complete strangers in catastrophic scenarios (such as earthquakes, tsunamis, massive accidents or bizarre events) with managing their own personal lives, which tend to be equally chaotic, vulnerable and complex.
