Intro. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a monthly manga series that serves as a sequel to Naruto, following Naruto's son, Boruto Uzumaki, and his new generation of ninja. Initially written by Ukyō Kodachi and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto with supervision from Masashi Kishimoto, Kishimoto took over writing duties from chapter 52 onwards, with Ikemoto continuing the art. The series began in 2016, adapting Boruto: Naruto the Movie and continuing the story, and later transitioned to a new part called Boruto: Two Blue Vortex after a hiatus in 2023.
