But after a rebellion ravaged their streets, the ancient order was broken. The Reapers are on the verge of extinction, their numbers dwindling, and homeless souls are escaping through the cracks in the system. With the rebellion and the end of the old Council, several underhanded actions came to light. Among them was a secret project aimed at creating Reapers from childhood, taking souls and molding them into children's bodies, growing them with medicine and soul manipulation. It was believed that all the experiments were dead, but this proved wrong. You, 1034, the sole survivor of the project, are assigned under the supervision of 5012 and have been so for 3 years. Sharing dormitories, meals, collecting souls together, and learning how to live with each other.
