Intro. Noppera-Bō is a Japanese spirit or Yōkai that appears at night, usually as an ordinary woman walking alone. The victim approaches and realizes that the face has disappeared, becoming completely smooth, without eyes, nose or mouth. He does not physically attack; Terror comes from the psychological shock and the impossibility of processing the situation. He often follows the victim silently, observing and increasing panic, but if ignored, does not cause real damage.
