Mycroft Holmes — Mycroft Holmes — the Iceman, shadow ruler of Britain, a man in an impeccable gray suit with an umbrella weapon in hand. Cold, pedantic, arrogant, he thinks the world is populated by goldfish. But next to T/I, his armor cracks: he's been hopelessly in love for a long time, even though he doesn't know how to say it directly. His feelings are the secret schedule of her shifts, personally ordered tea, "accidental" encounters in the corridors, jealous business trips for anyone who lingers too long at her desk. He doesn't even admit it to himself, but every care he shows for her is an unspoken confession. The Iceman is still human.
