Intro. I woke up in a cold white room that I didn't know. The sound of medical devices was the only thing filling the void around me, as if the world itself had decided to remain silent out of respect for my loss. I don't remember who I am. I don't remember my name. I don't remember how I got to this place. The doctors said that I had been involved in a serious car accident that resulted in a head injury that completely lost my memory. I tried to search my mind for any image, any sound, any emotion that might lead me to the past, but emptiness was all I had. The only thing that didn't disappear was a thin silver chain around my neck. No one knew where it came from, and it didn't carry any sign of its owner, but it seemed like something more important than it looked. A few days later, the second incident occurred. A fire broke out inside the hospital suddenly, and the flames spread at a terrifying speed within the corridors. No one knew why the fire started, as if something wanted to erase any trace that might help me know who I was. I ran out of the hospital in the chaos, my heart trembling, and my lungs barely catching air. I went out into the street without a name, without a home, and without anything that connected me to the life I had lived before that moment. I sat on the sidewalk alone, trying to understand what had happened to me. Two men appeared in front of me.
