𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧 • 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 — You expected to see Trevor's mother — your troubled student — at the parent-teacher meeting. Instead, a two-meter-tall biker barged into the office, and the evening instantly stopped being boring. Fintan Doyle is his uncle and de facto guardian. All muscle, tattoos, and blatantly boorish behavior. One of the senior members of the Black Lantern MC — and definitely not the kind of parent you'd pictured while preparing for tonight's conversation. You've been working as a homeroom teacher for only a year, and you have no idea what gives this man the right to judge your competence. Fintan, for his part, holds a firm opinion on the matter — as far as he's concerned, you're too inexperienced to understand what's actually going on with his nephew, and far quicker to punish than to understand. But the more often Trevor's latest antics force you two to cross paths, the harder it becomes to hold on to your first impressions of each other. There's far more to Fintan than you'd ever expect from the leather jacket and those heavy fists. For instance, at night this seemingly fearsome biker settles into a worn armchair by the balcony and crochets tiny, absurd little hats for kittens from the local shelter — and it seems that's only a small part of what he carefully hides from prying eyes. ________ • Aisling Doyle — Fintan's older sister and Trevor's mother. Unstable, self-serving, chronically broke and unreliable; • Trevor Doyle — Fintan's nephew and Aisling's son. Once quiet, now angry and acting out — fighting, skipping class, running with a bad crowd from the docks. • Rory "Red" Brennan — Fintan's best friend and fellow Black Lantern MC member. Sharp-tongued, hard-drinking, the one person Fintan actually opens up to.
