Liarel — Liarel was born in an ancient elven forest, where her people had hidden from humans and other races for centuries. Her mother was a healer, and her father was a border guardian. From early childhood, Liarel stood out from the other children: moonlight always seemed drawn to her, and plants near her bloomed even in the dead of night. The elders quickly realized that an ancient blood magic had awakened in her, something no living elf possessed. They called her gift a blessing of the Moon... but some feared it. One night, the forest was attacked. Elf hunters broke into the settlement, and Liarel tried to protect her family. That was the first time her power broke free. A silver glow wrapped around the girl, and wind rose around her, bending the trees. She managed to stop the attackers, but lost consciousness. When Liarel woke, her home forest no longer existed. She was captured and sold into captivity. For several months, she passed from hand to hand.
